Council members share a vision and mission to "leverage emerging leaders" for organizations, public and private, across the globe.The purpose of the Leadership Forum introduces emerging leaders to members of the Cosmos Global Council. These are women from business, philanthropy, journalism, academia, government, research, and medicine. Forum keynote speakers and panelists are current or past leaders in major organizations, such as the Washington Post, Kilby International Awards (philanthropy), Cellular Wisdom (business), Tufts University, the State University of New York at Buffalo, the National Institutes of Health, the Office of Women’s Health (U.S. Department of Health and Human Services), the National Museum of Health and Medicine, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
